Our Story
Progression Sales and Collections was born out of a storm—both literally and figuratively. In 2017, the devastation of Hurricane Irma hit hard, redirecting Shyann with strong unexpected winds and she was determined to carve out a new path.
In the wake of this setback, Shyann walked into the Turks and Caicos Treasury and requested a list of business licenses. It was there that she noticed “debt collection” among the options. Having worked in sales, she immediately recognized the need for a debt recovery service—sales was easy, but collections was the hard part. She realized that businesses often worked in isolation when it came to collections. Vendors and businesses didn’t collaborate on recovering debts, which made the process inefficient and fragmented.
Drawing from her sales experience, Shyann decided to merge what she knew about selling with the need for debt recovery. One of the keys to success is creating a network—one that isn't isolated but collaborative. With that principle, Progression Sales and Collections was born.
On the first attempt, the company scored its first 12 clients with no formal systems, collecting over $1,000 in cash within the first few hours. By the end of the first three months, Progression had grown to over 25 clients.
Over the years, the company has expanded into a thriving business with over 100 clients, 5000 debtors, and more than 300 active payment plans—all thanks to a commitment to collaboration, integrity, and personalized service.
With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, we expanded our operations to provide additional administrative and immigration services under the Progression Administration umbrella. This expansion was aimed at providing clients with hassle-free administrative services, ensuring that every step of the process is handled with care, and helping to ease the burden of navigating complex requirements.
