The following Certified document must be submitted with each application, irrespective of the category.
1. Two photographs of the foreign worker
2. Certified copy of the foreign worker passport bio data page
3. If individual is on island, proof of legal entry and lawful stay in the island
4. Valid Police Record
5. Certificate of Good Health
6. Newspaper ad advertise for two weeks
7. Employer Business License and Bio of Passport
8. Employer Authorization letter from Employer
Processing time 8 to 12 Weeks
Given that the Turks and Caicos Islands is a British Overseas Territory, our citizenship and our ability to obtain a Turks and Caicos Islands passport is governed by the British Nationality Act. Some TCI belonger are automatically British Overseas Territory Citizen (BOTC) and do NOT need to apply for Naturalization while others, depending on the circumstance at their birth are not, and so they will have to apply.

Administering the Oath of Allegiances
When Will You Receive the Certificate:
Allow 3-4 months for your application to be processed.
If your application is successful and it is necessary to take an oath. You will be contacted and given an appointment time to take an Oath of Allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen. You will be given the certificate at the Swearing Ceremony. If your application was not successful you will be given a written letter telling you that you do not meet the criteria to be granted citizenship.
The payment received is non-refundable.

Covering Letter from Surety Applying for a Visa on behalf of the Applicant

Parents Legal Status (in the country where he/she resides)

Any person submitting a Visa Application who does not meet the above requirements, his/her application may not be processed.
NB: The Immigration Ordinance and Regulation subsection (8) (2) states:
Applications for, entry clearance shall be made from outside the Islands to the nearest British High Commission, Embassy or Consulate, or to the Director of Immigration, Grand Turk. Save for the above requirements. The Director of Immigration may grant or decline a visa application under his statutory powers.
Turks and Caicos Islander status is the highest immigration status accorded to a person who acquired the status and or bestowed the status upon application in accordance with the laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands. The authority to grant TCI status is provided for in section 103 of the TCI constitution order 2011 and detailed in TCI islander status ordinance 2015. All persons who acquired belonger status under previous immigration ordinances retained their status.
The Benefits of being a Turks and Caicos Islander Given that Turks and Caicos Islands status is the highest immigration status locally, only Turks and Caicos Islander can do the following:

Apply for and be considered for the acquisition of residential crown land

Apply for and be considered for the grant of a TCI Government scholarship

Apply for and be considered for the grant of a business license to operate in the restricted business license category
